Tirupati, 17 September 2021: As part of the annual Pavitrotsavams in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati, Pavitra Samarpana was held on Friday.
The sacred offering was scientifically performed on Friday morning as part of the holy festival of Tirupati Sri Govindarajaswamy.
Special ceremonies were held at the temple on this occasion. In the morning Swami was woken up in morning and Tomalaseva and Sahasranamaarchana were performed.
From 8.30 am to 10.30 am, Sridevi and Bhudevi together with the devotees of Sri Govindarajaswami performed Vedic ceremonies at the shrine.
Snapanathirumanjanam was held from 10.30 am to 11.30 am. The celebrants were anointed with milk, curd, coconut water, honey, turmeric, and sandalwood.
Afterward, the sacred thread was offered to the Moolavars, the Swami’s idol in Balalayam, the Utsavars, all the sub-temples, the Pariwara deities, Dwajasthambam, and the Sri Anjaneya Swamy.
